I wrote about Diffit some time ago, and I’ve used it enough that I can make a quick comparison between Diffit and another EdTech I’ve been testing out.
First off, Diffit is magnificent if you are cranking in-class activities in print or in digital format. It exports seamlessly to PDF for printing, as well as spitting out Google Survey and Google PowerPoint formats. But there is a catch. It works if your activities are in English language. When I tried creating activity handouts in Japanese, I realized it does bulk of the work in creating contents, and it gives me new ideas to incorporate into class activities, however, you cannot trust the texts in Japanese to be grammatically correct. It’s difficult to give a percentage of how accurate the expressions and choice of words are used, but I had to go back and look at each sentence closely.
Teachers get to use it for free with a trial. I highly recommend giving it a try! Here is a Diffit 4 month extension of premium access if you would like to access it with extra functions. diffit.me/redeem?code=AC3KKYAX
